WWW Wednesday // I’ll be Bach

While I would very much like to take credit for this wonderful pun, I have to admit that it’s not me who made it up. I got it from my current read. But more of this later.

I think it’s high time for me to return properly to blogging. No more moping. And starting with the WWW is a good a place to start as any, don’t you think? I’ll definitely give it my best.

The three WWWs are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Restart by Gordan Korman

32819894

This is one of the most recent books I’ve finished. I have never read anything by Gordon Korman before and I liked the concept and was curious. I think the author did rather well with the topic and I’m wondering how it would be for me, if I would suddenly lose all my memories.

The Mystwick School of Musicraft by Jessica Khoury

This is definitely one of the highlights of my year. This book is incredible. I love it so much. I’m listening to the audiobook and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Seriously, if you have the chance, listen to the audiobook.

Camp Cacophony by Jessica Khoury

I will dive straight into the prequel, as soon as I’m done with the first Mystwick book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to arrive.

What have you been up to lately? What have you been or will be reading? Do you know any of my books?

  1. i read Restart a while ago, and really liked it! it’s such an interesting thing to think about, what life would be like if we lost all of our memories!!

    1. I don’t think I have heard about Gordon Kerman before but this one really surprised me. I thought the tone was a bit more like YA than MG though. What do you think?

      1. It’s been a while since I read it, but I remember it feeling pretty middle grade. I did read it when I was 12, so when I was reading only MG and wouldn’t have been paying much attention to that.

  2. I listened to the audiobook of Mystwick earlier this year (it was my first audiobook ever!!), and while the audiobook itself was amazing, the story kinda disappointed me because I was expecting more from the second half of the book

  3. Ooh, I’ve never heard of the Mystwick book until now but that cover has me all kinds of curious! I’m definitely going to have to check it out 😍 Also like the tagline of “Restart”! Sounds kinda ‘typical’ of the memory loss trope (or at least the books that I’ve seen/read) but it sounds interesting! Would you recommend it?

    1. Actually, I would. It was a fast read and I liked how Chase discovers what kind of person he was before the accident and how other react to his memory loss. 🙂
And I will forever yell about Mystwick! It’s just so great. Definitely listen to the audiobook if you have the chance. It gives the book a whole different feel because they have an actual orchestra accompanying the reading in some spots and it’s just so amazing. And the narrator is great too. She does so many different voices and makes every character so distinct. 😀
